Maps of the Scotchman Peaks Wilderness Area

The Friends of Scotchman Peaks wish to thank the Idaho Conservation League for their help and support in producing these new high-quality maps.

This full-color, shaded relief, topographic map shows maintained trails and trailhead access routes on one side. The other side of the map has information designed to inspire as well as assist in trip planning.

You can pick up your FREE copy at many locations throughout our communities, including those retail businesses who sell our t-shirts and other merchandise, forest service ranger district offices, chamber of congresses, or at an upcoming Friends of Scotchman Peaks event.   Please see our Store Page for a list of local retailers where you can find our Maps and other merchandise.

Many thanks to our good friend Sylvie at TerraPen GeoGraphics for producing these maps!

A note from Sylvie on scale:  the map is at the native scale of the Forest Service map (1: 126720, or 2 miles to the inch).  When you print out the PDF there is an option under “Page scaling” to set it to NONE (retains the native scale) or “set to printer margins”.  On my printer the map cuts off slightly if set to NONE, so you may need to watch out for that as well and fit to your printers margins.
