At FSPW’s Trails Training Day, learn how trails happen, hike leader responsibilities and stay in shape for good hiking!
This fun, educational one day stewardship event begins at 8 am Pacific, 9 am Mountain. We begin with basics at Eddy Creek Camp Ground and move into the field on nearby Trail #999 or at the Bull River Campground. Trainees will learn basic trail safety, basic power and cross-cut saw techniques and safety, weed identification, trail building and maintenance techniques and methods, trail standards and more.
