Come Wander Wetlands with FSPW!

Posted on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 by »

Fall is the perfect weather for exploring the area’s wetlands. No bugs buzzing around, cool fall temperatures.

Share a day of discovering the amazing diversity of wetlands, lake habitats, and forest edge effects on October 14. These often-overlooked but important connective habitats offer possibilities of seeing and photographing close to 200 species of birds that occur in western Montana wetlands. We will look for birds of prey, waterfowl, woodpeckers, and songbirds. We will look at insects, amphibians, butterflies, and reptiles, and also search the mud for tracks of snakes, weasels, and birds.
