Event Description:

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERAThe panhandle of Northern Idaho has some fantastic birding locations and mid-May is a perfect time to explore them! On Saturday, May 19th, come out for a day to celebrate our diverse bird species as we take to the field to spot, identify, study, and photograph these amazing winged creatures. Our group will visit some well known areas, but with a different twist, and some hidden gems as well. Field locations will depend on weather, group makeup, and desire of our birders.  We will focus on birds of prey, waterfowl, woodpeckers, and songbirds.

Please come prepared for the day with proper clothing and footwear, water, lunch, binoculars, spotting scopes, cameras, and birding books. We will combine short, moderate hikes with road tours and viewing areas. Full gas tanks appreciated! This FREE class!

We will meet at 8:00 am PACIFIC time, and 9:00 am MOUNTAIN time at the south parking lot of Northern Idaho College campus located at 102 South Euclid, Sandpoint, Idaho. Spaces are limited, so if you sign up, show up please.  Fill in the form below to sign up.
