FSPW is on the lookout for a winter employee!

Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness seeks a temporary Assistant Program Coordinator to begin work December 5. This 20-hour per week position will last approximately 16 to 20 weeks, with a possibility of more hour per week and an extended period of employment. The job pays $14 per hour.

The Assistant Program Coordinator will implement FSPW’s Winter Tracks program, engaging FSPW volunteers and working with local schools to get students outdoors in the winter;  help administer the wolverine research program FSPW is undertaking with parnter Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks; write and distribute the weekly Insider email; update FSPW events on local media calendars; provide general outreach/advocacy/support for the Idaho legislative campaign and other office administrative duties as needed.

This position reports to the FSPW Program Coordinator.

An energetic, easygoing, outgoing person with computer and media skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively is required. A basic knowledge of outdoor skills and love of wild places is a plus; adaptability and good sense of humor a must!
