For those who are 70 years young or older. This iconic Bonner County hike gains about 3650 feet in elevation over nearly 8 miles of trail. It is on well-constructed tread most of the way, with about 1000 feet on talus rock at the top. It is strenuous and you will know you’ve been for a hike, but the view from the top is worth it. Hiking poles are recommended.
