Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
Meet at the Chevron station in Clark Fork. From there we'll drive the short way up Spring Cr. Rd. and Mtn. View Rd. to Mary's, where we'll park and stroll to the trailhead.
Hike Description:This hike will provide wonderful views of Goat Mtn, Scotchman Pk and Scotchman Pk #2. It ascends (steeply) until branching off toward the remains of the old lookout on Bee Top, perched precipitously above Lightning Cr. Great views of Lake Pend Oreille too. About 7 mi. and 4000′ each way. Bring at least 2 liters of water.. The trail faces south most of the way and could be quite warm.
