Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:

Meet at the Clark Fork Chevron station. The approach is similar to that for the regular Scotchman trail: Mosquito Cr. Rd., FR 2295, then FR2294 (instead of turning on 2294A to trail 65) for about 2 miles. There is no trailhead, just the road's high point.

Hike Description:

This beauty starts with about 1/2 mile of really nasty bushwhacking, but that gets us to the SE ridge. Thence it is mostly nice elk trails up the ridge. Outstanding views of the W. Fk. Blue Cr. and the Compton Crags. About 3 1/2 mi. and 3600′ each way.
