Hike Description:Join us for a steep and strenuous snowshoe hike to Star Peak! The elevation gain is about 4000ft over a course of 5 miles (one way), but it is worth it for the incredible views that greet you at the top. Join hike leaders John Harbuck and Carey Chisholm and be prepared for early spring weather conditions in Montana! Bring layered clothing (no cotton!), at least 2 liters of water and plenty of nutritious food. Also recommended: sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and a super attitude.
