September Happenings

Posted on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012

Are you having Pulaski withdrawal? Don’t hang up your work clothes yet! We will be taking advantage of the cooler fall weather to work on the Blacktail Creek Trail and look for Pillick Ridge weeds on Tuesday, September 18.

Our final workday this fall is September 29. It just happens to be National Public Lands Day and we are teaming up with the Sandpoint Ranger District to work on the Morris Creek Trail. Everyone is invited to join the “End of Summer” celebration at 3 p.m. the same day. We’ll dine in style at the Morris Creek trailhead, courtesy of Friends of Scotchman Peaks and everyone who brings a potluck dish to share. Whether working on the trail or just joining us for some good eats and great stories, everyone is invited. Contact trails@scotchmanpeaks.org for more information.
