The Plein Air Paintout returns to Hope October 10

Whether you have never picked up a brush in your life or you’ve been painting for years, this is an opportunity to learn more about the art of art. The Scotchman Peaks Plein Air Paintout returns to the Outskirts Gallery in Hope this fall on October 10.

This year’s event features a series of workshops from Paintout veterans Greg Caudell, Aaron Johnson, and Allison Barrows Young. The workshops begin at 10, giving artists new and seasoned a chance to go work with the early and late light. Paintings completed during the day will be hung at the gallery on the afternoon of the event. Reception and show will follow sunset.

Registration fee is $25, and includes all three workshops. For more information write to info@scotchmanpeaks.org, kallythurman@gmail.com or call Kally at 208-264-5696
