Annual State of the Scotchmans V. 2014

Tenacious: Setting the Self-Supported Speed Record on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Our guest speaker for this year’s State of the Scotchman’s is Heather ‘Anish’ Anderson, well known for setting the overall self-supported speed record on the 2,600 mile Pacific Crest Trail in 2013 (60 days, 17 hours, 12 min!), breaking the previous record by four days. Women’s Adventure Magazine named her one of their Top 10 Women Adventurers of 2013.  How did she do it?! Join us and hear about this amazing young woman’s story!

The 2014 State of the Scotchman’s is being held at the Forrest M Bird Charter Middle School auditorium, Wednesday evening, May 14th, from 6-8pm.  Enjoy appetizers and no-host beer and wine as you learn of the current progress of our mission, discover ‘The Old Goat’ for 2013, and of course, hear the tale of Heather’s incredible journey.  See you there!

How to get there:

The Middle School is the building to the west of the dividing road between the high school and the middle school.
