Congratulations on Chamber Choice Awards

On Friday night the Greater Sandpoint Area Chamber of Commerce held their Second annual “Chamber Choice Awards”.  We’d like to congratulate to all of the Winners and Nominees!  You can read a full recap of the evening’s nominees and winners at this link: http://sandpointchamber.org/chamberchoice.html

The Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness are proud to have been nominated in two categories:  Non-Profit of the Year and Green Business of the Year.  The award went to two very distinguished and deserving business, whom we would like to congratulate: Wishing Star Foundation and Six Rivers Market. Just to be included as a nominee among such stellar candidates was reason enough for us to celebrate. What a great note to start the year on!

We are especially proud of Jacob Styer, our Friends of Scotchman Peaks Treasurer for his nomination in the category of Young Professional of the Year.  The field included many outstanding individuals.  We’d like to congratulate Michelle Anderson on her selection in this category.  We are proud of Jacob’s deserving recognition as a nominee.  Way to go Jacob!

Most of all we would like to thank the Chamber for all the work that they do through out the year to promote our community.  It takes a lot of effort to put together awards such as these and an event such as the Ceremony Friday night – thank YOU Chamber!  We are proud to call this area our home.
