Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
We will meet up at the end of the paved portion of Lightning Creek Road (FS #419) approx. Mile Marker 3, The county stops plowing there.
Hike Description:Our annual kick-off to the winter season. We’ll stroll down along Lightning Creek and then climb a short way up Regal Creek trail to a view of the valley. This will be an out and back trip of about 6 to 7 miles. This adventure will most likely be on snowshoes and will be suitable for all abilities. Bring layers of clothes, plenty of water and lunch.
Event runs from 9:30-4pm PST (8:30-3pm MST)
