Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
Turn East onto East Fork Bull River Rd. from Hwy 56, travel 1 mile to the trailhead which will be on your left.
Hike Description:Join FSPW on a spring wildflower hike on Berray Mountain West Trail 967
Berray Mountain is an important habitat link between the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness and the Scotchman Peaks Wilderness Area. The trail climbs steeply through an open forest of pines and firs with great views. A wonderful spring hike without any water crossing. Depending on the trail conditions, weather and desire of the group we will turn around well before reaching the lookout. We can then visit the Historic Bull River Guard Station and a waterfall nearby for those interested.
