Hike Description:

Join hike leaders Gina Pucci and Britta Mireley for a relaxed, nearly 0 elevation gain stroll with a view of the Scotchman Peaks. Bring your family out to the Deer Creek Segment of Idaho Fish & Game’s Pend Oreille Wildlife Management Area off the River Road outside of Clark Fork. The kids well get to run around outside and maybe learn a little about animals of the area with some hands on activities.

We’ll play and learn, eat some lunch and then head back home for the day. This low key adventure is open to families of all sizes and ages, but will be geared toward younger children, toddlers to early elementary.

Remember to bring appropriate layers for changing conditions, food, water, and a camera to document the fun.
