Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
This (somewhat) annual event aims to get you out on the snow, ice, mud, or whatever North Idaho offers, and enjoy some food and camaraderie. This year will be a relatively flat trek (hopefully via XC skis) into Spar Lake, where you will be served a delicious repast. Since the date coincides with National Margarita Day, it will be Mexican- themed, and festive dress is encouraged. Please be prepared with nordic skis, snowshoes or just boots depending on what the snow conditions are. I will send out an update the week prior giving you current reports. Plan on bringing a pack of some kind so we can distribute the food and beverage to those able to carry a little extra weight.
