Hike Description:

Bring your sense of curiosity as we discover the unique ecosystem of the old growth cedar forest. We’ll learn about the ecology of this old-growth plant community, from thousand-year-old trees, to tiny ferns and mushrooms, to the animals that call this quiet forest home. This is a very easy hike is friendly to all ages and abilities who want to experience the wonder of the famous Ross Creek Cedars old growth forest. We will walk at a slow pace with stops along the way to discuss ecology. Wheelchair accessible.  Please bring adequate layers for the weather, water and snacks. Plan to be outdoors & on your feet for 2 – 3 hours.
