Hike Description:

Join FSPW staff member Kelsey Maxwell for a wildflower walk along Blacktail Creek. Kelsey will bring plant ID books and will provide some knowledge about the local flora and fauna. Bring lots of food, water, and layers for rain and sun protection. We will meet at the Blacktail Creek trailhead at 10:00 AM Mountain Time.

The trailhead is located at approximately milepost 9 on Highway 200. There is a short powerline access road leaving the highway that goes to the actual trailhead.  However, there is very limited parking at this location.  Most users park on the south side of Highway 200 in a large wide area and walk across the highway to the trailhead. Trailhead Coordinates: 48.0562362306618, -115.88906616738574
