Joel is a long-time lover of wild places. As a kayak guide and instructor, he has witnessed the wonders of nature up close in the San Juan Islands and in Prince William Sound. Having a pod of Orcas surround your kayak will instill a lifetime of wonderment and excitement for wilderness exploration. He believes that nature has a significant role in teaching us to slow down, be introspective and live in the moment. Joel feels strongly that wilderness should be accessible to anyone with the desire to explore, to put in some sweat equity and become stewards of these beautiful public lands.
