Get out your calendars!

Plan to join the FSPW on a volunteer-led hike in the Scotchman Peaks this summer. We have a number of hikes scheduled and they are filling up fast. Email the hike leader(s) to sign up. Click on the following link for details: https://www.scotchmanpeaks.org/hiking/current-hiking-schedule/

Or, join us for one of our trail projects! We have three trail projects lined up this summer, and our first was already a great success! On July 9th and 10th a group of great volunteers headed up to Regal Creek to reestablish a trail with the Forest Service. With a little bit of sweat and a lot of brush clearing, we actually finished the project early!

We have two more trail projects coming up this summer. On July 23rd and 24th we’ll be working on the east end of Pillick Ridge (near Bull River in Sanders County, Montana). Our final trail project is on August 20th. We’ll be doing some maintenance on the Little Spar Creek Trail in Lincoln County, Montana.

If you are interested in volunteering on any of these stewardship projects please email Lauren at trails@scotchmanpeaks.org.
