Wilderness Remote First Aid Certification
Have you ever been in a situation in the back country that required fast action to assist an injured hiking partner, or even a complete stranger? Did you have the knowledge to assist them? How about the confidence that you had the situation under control?
If you answered NO to those questions, it’s time to get certified in Adult CPR and Wilderness Remote First Aid!
Friends of Scotchman Peaks is offering the class and certification May 6-7th in Sandpoint, Idaho. Our volunteer instructor, Carol Jenkins, is certified by the Red Cross to teach this course. The class will be held at Westwood Clubhouse, 1703 Westwood Drive. The class will run from 8am to 5pm both days.
The cost for FSPW Volunteers is $56 plus the cost of the manual. Upon successful completion, your certification is valid for 2 years. In return for this discounted rate, we ask that you volunteer to lead 2 events for us within the 2-year certification period.
Class size is very limited, contact our Program Manager, Joel Thompson ASAP at joel@scothmanpeaks.org for more information or click here to sign up now!
