Turn north at Hays Chevron Station in Clark Fork, Idaho (8 miles west of Montana border on Highway 200), then turn onto Lightning Creek Road #419. Follow #419 to the end of the plowing (about 4 miles.) The fun begins there. Carpoolers meet at 9am at Yokes in Ponderey, ID. Rearrange as you like, but be sure to get back on the road quickly to get to TH by 10AM pst

Our hike leader has been intimately involved in restoration work for this valued and valuable ecosystem for the past two summer seasons: learn all about its history and the current stewardship takes we are spearheading during our tour here. Do it for the LOVE!
Meetup at 10 AM pst/11am mst at the end of the plow route along Lightning Creek. We will return to our vehicles by 3pm, to give you plenty of time to pretty up for your evening 🙂
