Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:

Turn north at Hays Chevron Station in Clark Fork, Idaho (8 miles west of Montana border on Highway 200).  Turn left  onto Lightning Creek Road #419. Follow #419 to the end of the plowing (about 4 miles.).  This will be the starting point!

Hike Description:

Join hike leader and award-winning Orienteer John Harbuck in skiing/snowshoeing out to Morris Creek on the western perimeter of the Scotchman Peaks Wilderness proposal. Elevation gain and distance will be moderate to strenuous, depending on weather, snow conditions, group condition/decisions, phase of moon, etc.

Meet at the “trailhead” at 10AM pst/11AM mst
