Hike Description:

Join Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness and Wild Montana for a snowshoe along the Bull River!

We’ll follow the Dry Creek Trail beneath a dense evergreen canopy. The wall of green occasionally breaks, offering grand views into the scenic Bull River Valley. We’ll move at a leisurely pace so we have plenty of time to ID wildlife tracks and interpret the story their tracks have left behind in the snow.

Afterwards we will find somewhere warm to play wildlife bingo and enjoy some hot chocolate!

Bring lunch, plenty of fluid, and extra layers.  Registration opens January 10th https://wildmontana.org/event/scotchmans-saunter-wildlife-tracks-along-bull-river/

Event is February 10th from 10:30am-3pm MST (9:30am-2pm PST)
