Come check out the 4th Annual Scotchman Peaks Plein Air Paint Out! For the fourth year, twenty talented local and regional artists will converge on Hope, ID, to put on canvas their unique vision of our favorite wilderness. The Outskirts Gallery in Hope will be the center of activity, and the artists along with their freshly painted work will be available Sunday afternoon to discuss their techniques and passion for plein air. The judging of the work by acclaimed local artists with prizes awarded adds to the fun.
The artists will paint in and around the Scotchmans Wilderness the weekend of Sept 23-25th. On Sunday the 25th at noon, the artists will hang their completed work at the Outskirts Gallery. The official judging will be at 2PM and the work will go on sale at 3PM. Kally Thurman’s Outskirts Gallery & Hope Marketplace is next to the post office in Hope, Idaho.
