Trainings scheduled for wolverine station leaders.

Attention wolverine wannabes!  For those of you who have signed up to be monitoring station leaders and were unable to attend our December 3rd training day, there are two additional trainings scheduled in the next week.

This successful camera station from last winter "captured" a good-sized fisher.

In order to accommodate as many people as possible, we have scheduled the first training for Saturday the 17th at 9:00 am and the second for Monday the 19th at 2:00pm.  Both trainings will be held at the USFS Sandpoint Ranger District offices located at 1602 Ontario.  The main goal both days will be to go through the complete set-up process for a camera station and to briefly go over safety concerns as well as any questions you may have about logistics this winter.  The trainings will be outdoors and will be about 2 hours long, so remember to dress appropriately for whatever weather the day gives us.  We will meet in the back (overflow) parking lot and then walk back as a group to our “site”.

Please RSVP to mustelids@scotchmanpeaks.org by Friday the 16th and specify which of the two days you will be attending.  Please park in the overflow lot at the rear of the offices.

See you there!
