Sanders County 4-H, Friends of Scotchman Peaks and Kaniksu Land Trust are teaming up to host a family campout at Fishtrap Lake and Backpack to Terrace Lake!
A family campout is a perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy quality time with loved ones in the great outdoors. Imagine roasting marshmallows over a crackling fire, telling stories under the stars, and waking up to the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves. It’s a chance to unplug, unwind, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Fishtrap Lake offers stunning views and plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Lace up your hiking boots and explore the nearby trails, where you’ll discover breathtaking scenery and maybe even spot some wildlife.

New this year, many of us will backpack to Terrace Lake nearby on Thursday night as well!
