Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
Meeting Location: Dry Creek Trailhead #1020, located just W of Highway 56 on FR 1118.
Hike Description:Hike up Dry Creek, Hamilton Gulch trails to the end of the trail. If we feel like it, and conditions are good, we can then bushwhack our way up to the ridgeline to a 6400′ peak for excellent views of Billiard peak. We will then follow the ridgeline back and intersect with Hamilton Gulch trail for our hike out. 4,000′ elevation gain and about 11 miles.
We will meet at the trailhead at 9:30 Montana Time (8:30 Idaho Time) and plan to return about 4:30 Montana Time.
