Event Description:

On National Public Lands Day we want to celebrate your public lands by helping to clear the East Fork trail. The Lightning Creek drainage access road is recently reopened after a fire closure earlier this summer. We are excited to be able to get in here before the season ends! You’ll help to clear downed trees, repair tread, enhance trail by trimming back plants and reduce user-created shortcuts on the upper part of the trail.

We’ll finish with a cook-out at the trailhead to celebrate National Public Lands Day!

Wear sturdy boots, carry lots of water, pack lunch and lots of snacks, dress in long pants, long shirt, hat, sunblock, and bring your own work gloves. FSPW will take care of the rest.

We will meet @ 8:00am – 4:00pm PT (9:00am – 5:00pm MT)

How to get there:

We will meet at the Clark Fork High School parking lot (502 N Main St, Clark Fork, ID 83811) and caravan from there.
