Morris Creek Trail # 132 in the National Forest Foundation’s Treasured Landscape of Lightning Creek is in pretty good shape down low, thanks to annual visits from FSPW trail crews. Now the upper end needs some attention. The crew will “go deep” for some brushing and tread work in the upper Morris Creek Basin. We’ll also take our crosscut for a walk to clear blowdowns and assess the lower trail for future work to be done.
Morris Creek Trailhead is about 6.25 miles north of Clark Fork on Forest Roadn #419. We will meet at the Clark Fork High parking lot and carpool from there.
