Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
The trailhead is just off of Montana Highway 200 45 miles east of Sandpoint, ID and 45 miles West of Thompson Falls, MT. The trailhead turn-off is near mile marker 6.5 on Forest Road #2292. You can park at a highway pull-off directly across the highway from Forest Rd #2292. GPS Coordinates: 48.068868, -115.924948
Hike Description:Join us for a winter wonderland snowshoe hike up the Star Peak Trail. We will hike approximately 2 miles to a beautiful overlook of the Clark Fork Valley. It’s a big climb, but lots of switchbacks keep the grade mellow and provide big, sweeping views you wouldn’t expect until July.
Event will run from 11am-4pm Montana time (10-3pm Idaho time)
