Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
We will meet at the Lakeside (2955 MT Hwy 200, Trout Creek, MT) at 1:00pm Montana Time (Noon PT) to carpool to the trailhead. We will finish up about 5:00pm MT.
Hike Description:Join us for an informative walk exploring the fire history and forest ecology of the Swamp Creek area. Local expert Doug Ferrell will share insights into how wildfire, forest management, and natural processes have shaped this landscape over time.
Bring snacks, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. Come ready to learn, explore, and enjoy a great day in the woods!
