Bonner County Fair — Dr. Seuss on the loose!

1390 BonnieFairBoothWebBonner County Fair is one of our most important outreach events of the year. Literally hundreds of people walk by our booth every day for five days in a row, all Friends and Friends yet to be made! And this year, the theme is Dr. Seuss. How about helping us come up with a unique decorating plan celebrating Theodore Geisel’s contribution to literature and the ideas of conservation and wilderness. (He invented The Lorax, after all!)

Our booth volunteers have lots of fun talking to old friends and making new Friends for the Scotchman Peaks proposal. It’s easy. It’s fun. It’s important!

Volunteers hand out the newest Scotchman Peaks hiking map and buttons suitable for  kids and adults and answer questions about why wilderness is important to the future of our world.

Visitor or volunteer, we look forward to seeing YOU at the Bonner County Fair!

Write to info@scotchmanpeaks.org to volunteer or learn more.

* August 19 is setup day at the fair.
