Hike Description:
Head to the historic lookout atop Star Peak and see some beautiful fall colors and scenery along the way. This hike is 10 miles round trip with an elevation gain of about 4,000 feet. We will travel switchbacks up to the forest and then venture through an old burn area full of beautiful vegetation and huckleberries. Then the final push to the rocky peak of Star and the historic stone cabin, lookout, and outhouse. Views on top are amazing, making the hike even more special.
We will meet at the trailhead at 9:00 am MT (8:00am PT)
