We love our Friends. Help us celebrate them!

Wow. Supporters of saving the wild Scotchmans really made us feel loved in 2018. It was a year of ups and downs, and we ended on a high note. Thanks to folks like you, we met the match gift goal of $4,000, and then some!

Whether you supported the incredible Scotchman Peaks through a financial contribution, volunteering, donating a raffle or auction item, or helping to spread the word about why we should save the wild Scotchmans for our children and grandchildren, the wild Scotchmans are lucky to have you!

Thank you to Friends like Howard and Connie Shay who, between the two of them, have volunteered for Winter Tracks, on the trail crew, as Goat Ambassadors, and doing outreach. Not to mention all the hikes and outings I’ve enjoyed with them.

As Howard puts it, “it’s important to keep this area…incredibly wild [so]…my grandchildren and children can come back here.”

Now we want to celebrate you and all the Friends the Scotchman Peaks have enjoyed over the last 14 years! Come out to our 14th Anniversary Celebration on Sun., Jan. 13 to hear some incredibly wild tales about the Scotchman Peaks and other wild places through stories and songs from the StoryTelling Company.

Admission is just $5 at the door. Did I mention Eichardt’s will have beer and wine available for purchase and there will be finger foods on hand for snacking?

We’ll be at POAC’s art gallery in the Cedar Street Bridge, 2nd Floor starting at 3pm this Sunday (Jan. 13).

Thank you and looking forward to seeing you,

Phil
