Directions to Trailhead or Meeting Location:
Meet at SW part of Yokes parking lot in Sandpoint Idaho. @6:00 am PT. We can meet others in Clark fork &/or Heron for those living that direction. Trailhead location: Drive Highway 56 to milepost 12.5, then turn west onto FS 1118. The trailhead, complete with plenty of parking is just of the highway. We should be at the trailhead about 8:30pm MT.
Hike Description:Join us for a casual walk through the woods, taking time to view and identify the smaller things in life: the BIRDS! Resident bird expert Rich Del Carlo will join and help new and experienced birders alike. Bring binoculars if you have them. (We will bring a few extra pairs.) Wear protective clothing if bugs bother you. Bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.
